Yes. I am a Sept 2002 ND/RD. Priority Date is July 1999. Very painful
delays.

3 Status Enquiries. Congressman intervened in a delayed I-40, enquired
twice for I-485.

One Expedite Request denied.

4 EAD's ( 4th one was for a lost one ) and 3 AP's.

Called up Vermont directly 4 times..each time a vague reply.

Wrote to Ombudsman; Ombudsman queried USCIS. USCIS replied with
apology blah blah....

Finally attorney fired AILA enquiry today.

Bottomline : They did it at their own pace. I don't think anything helped.

And I am going to stop here and not teach any morals or lessons or
suggestions as to how to have patience etc....coz USCIS has tested
my patience, is testing others' patience and will keep testing others'
patience.

I am happy but also very sapped

I am happy too but more than that zapped and suddenly reflective.

This brutal process seems to have taken a lot of my juices, sapped
my energy, mental & physical. It has affected my productivity, anger,
rage, and I think it has left a scar on my psyche. Hopefully it heals.

Today, I am starting to see if I can regain some poise and get rid of a lot
of inner anguish. That's all I am gonna do.

you should never have been so focussed on it..it comes it comes otherwise no biggie..calcutta for you no more

Glad to hear the news

I am happy for you.... Hope other 2002 filers like me would get our approvals soon.

April ?

It just freaks me out to see that there are cases dating back to April and
Jan 2002 ( why, even 2001 )out there, waiting. Bare bones common sense
dictates a First Come First Serve order.............just puzzles me that these
guys at USCIS don't get such a simple concept.

Wish they hire a temp or intern and just ask him/her to arrange all the
files in the order of Priority Date ( and for same Priority Date, in order of
I-485 ND ). And then take them up one by one. Wonder, why is that such
a hard rocket science ?

Congratulations Sumanta. I remember your User name...we started together...Sep 2002. Very glad to see that a fellow filer got approved... :) Be relieved....take a break now....have couple of beers and relax.

Now how about a hunger strike for All other unapproved

Hey Sumanta,

Could we go for the hunger strike for me and many more like me ?

Forget it. Just kidding.!!!!

I know better ways. Have faith in the Lord and leave all worries to him.

Just being Patient.

BTW Congratulations Dude. I wish your stamping and card process go smoothly. All the best

Congratulations Sumanta.

Your scar will heal in due course and you wont even remember going through this

Best wishes
