Hi all,
Today, I have checked my email, to my surprise I have seen approval emails from UCIS ( for me and wife)

1485 received date: November 20, 2002.
Finger print :06/25/2004 it is firstfinger print.
Applied 1st EAD on november 24th 2003
Applied for 2nd EAD last month waiting for Approval

First of all congratulations. Which category are you from EB1 or EB2 or EB3. Curious becos my case is Nov25,2002.

Did you get a RFE or second FP for your case. Could you also please tell us when you did your first FP. Did you file for AP or EAD recently which may have triggered your approval.

We will deeply appreciate your input.

No RFE, No second FP . I am in EB2 India presently in Wisconsin. No change of Companies during GC processing. But prior to that I have change 3 companies in the span of 3 years. By july 2004 I will be completing my 6 years in US.

Yes Indeed, I have applied my self EAD, AP on april14th 2004.Because there is no point in paying my money to attorney as the process is simple.

Was your first FP expired. When did you complete that. Does this mean Nebraska is approving without sending out 2nd FP notice or RFE.

It would really help fellow I-485 applicants to know that.

Your post says
"Finger print :06/25/2004 it is firstfinger print." This is obviously a typo- when was your FP date ? I am guessing 06/25/2003.

Though mine is a March 2003 RD, my FP was 05/06/2003. I am wondering what kind of "logic" these guys are following.

Another question- did you have a concurrent app for 140 and 485 ? When did your 140 get approved ?

Your case clearly shows that, cases upto Dec 2002 are being processed if FP and other checks are cleared. Since you got your FP done much later than your RD/ND, your FP is still current. My guess is you got approved in the first cycle/scan on your application.

No concurrent filing, my 140 approved in 10 days of filing . With the approval notice My atrtorney filed my 485.

Yes it is typo, My finger print date : june 2003.

My case was never updated in this whole time. The same blah blah message.
suddenly it says it is approved. Guys, I can't Believe this , but it happend.

I guess this is not much hope for people like myself and fellow Oct/Nov/Dec 2002 filers who are still waiting for their 2nd FP notices. My first FP were done in Dec 2002 and till date we havent received any 2nd FP at all.

I am filing for AP renewal next week and am hoping that may trigger either a 2nd FP or an RFE. Not much hope for direct approval like Raghu's case even though dates are earlier than his.

I dont know how NSC is processing the 485 cases. Is it just at random or do they follow a process???????
 
It seems, in Raghu's case, he still has valid FP (His 1st FP was done much later and has not expired yet). He also may have all the stuff correct so as not to invite a RFE.

Good to know that they are approving some cases without RFE.

1. You are working for a large company with several GC's cleared already ...
2. Did you file 140 & 485 concurrently?
3. Which category EB2 , EB3?

, It is very small one. In fact I am the first in my company to get. Other bunch of people are waiting who filed after me.

It is not concurrent.
