My bad experience with NSC so far, for your fun!

It seems that I myself have been in deep s**t with NSC since I started the GC process.

Here is the explaination:

1. Both my I-140s took more than 15 months to clear;
2. My EAD took more than 4 months to clear;
3. My I-485 is pending forever and now in Name Check trap.

Anyone else had worse experience, please post.

Here is my story:

NIW 140/485 on 5/2004, #1 RFE for 140 responsed on 8/2005, then I got #2 RFE 6 months after submitting #1 RFE, responsed on 2/2006, 140 AD on 3/2006. Then retrogression, then visa current and then find out 485 name check pending. See my luck worse or same as yours

Shokaido:

Sorry to hear about the pending name stuck! SOmetimes contacting local congressmen would help.

I was stuck with my 140 EB1 for long time and it took 2 years to get the approval. But luckily 485 went bit faster (7-8 months).

Good luck with the speedy approval.

bhakum, Thanks for information.

Folks with I-140 filed at NSC in 2003 and early 2004 suffered real long wait for approvals. Both you and me are one of the victims.

I'll try to contact the senators/congressmen to push my case to go through.

I am facing the same headache. I am the EB2 case at NSC, with PD 3/2002, 485 RD 1/2004. A name check was requested on 1/29/2004 and still pending. I don't know what they are doing!!!

One more joke

I applied for my 4th EAD and NSC approved it in 10 days. Not sure to be happy or cry since I applied approximately 3-1/2 months before expriation date of current EAD. It means the next EAD I have to apply again in 9 months. :mad:
