Hi all,
I moved from texas to Boise, Idaho two months ago.
My Attorney requested NSC for a change of address on behalf me two months ago. But NSC scheduled my finger prints to be done at Longview, Texas and sent my Finger print notice to my lawyer.
I didn't receive a copy.

When my attorney called Boise Local INS office, they said
I can just walk in Boise local INS office and can do my finger prints
as long as I submit my original Finger print Notice.

Meanwhile My attorney wrote a letter to Longview Finger print
office and attached my original finger print notice instead of
attaching a copy of finger print notice by mistake!!

Now I don't have my Original Finger print notice.
Boise Local INS office is not accepting a Copy of my finger print notice.

I will really appreciate any information about

1)Is there a exception to accepta Copy of a Finger print notice ?

2) Whom Should I contact to get a duplicate FP notice ?

3)what is the procedure to get a duplicate FP notice

4) How long it takes to get a duplicate FP notice ?

5) Can I ask Senetor's Help on this?

My ND is 04/17/2001.

Thanks for your help

Attorney Helped me complete My finger prints

Hi All,
I just want to let you know that, My Attorney came with me
to the local Boise INS office and spent two hours at INS office.

She talked to the local INS officers and made them to accept
a Notariced copy of a finger print notice. I have done my
finger prints on the same day. Now I hope my case is
back on track.

:)

Could you please tell me how long it takes for a case to be
assigned to an officer after the finger printing is done on avg.
