Hi guys. I am currently suspended from the University for a semester and will be returning home on Jan 25. I plan on visiting the States on Feb 10 by applying for a B2 visa. The documents that I am able to provide are my passport, my suspension letter, all my family member's national identity card, all my family member's birth certificate, my father's bank account, my bank account statement in my home country with balance of USD5000, my bank account statement of US Bank with balance of USD3000, flight ticket from my home country to the US on Feb 10, flight ticket back from the US to my home country on May 22, and transcript from my University.

Do you think it is possible for me to get the visa?

So right now you are in the US on F-1 status? You will go back to your home country on Jan 25th, apply for a B-2 visa and return to the US as a visitor on Feb 10th, correct? Two weeks is ample time to apply for a visa. Whether you get the B-2 visa and whether you are allowed entry into the US as a visitor is a different story.

Yes. I am afraid the consul might think that I am suspicious as I only go home for two weeks and want to visit my friends right after that.
