my address change experience..

I changed the address in dec02 for me and my wife pending 485 and 765.I send AR-11 on dec05.I callled 800 nunmber and changed address after 4 days LUD changed after a 10 days there is mAil on top of my mail box with my name fron USCIS.The address is wrong building number is wrong!!!! mY neibhor dropped that envelop
That is for my 765.Immedeatly i called 800 number told the situation,they said ok i will change the address on the 765 ,i told her i gave all my pending lin numbers at a time so please change all.She said i cannot do that you have to wait for a month then i will change.She is telling if 765 addess wrong means not all the pending applications are wrong they(485) may be correct.

I waited for a month(JAN 02) and called again that i did not received my and my wife's 485 conformation she took all the crap again and this time my LUD changed i or we did not get any mail,my wife's LUD not changed.

One more thing our EAD'S approved ,i got mine to my original address.As soon as i got approval e-mail from USCIS i took next two days off and waited for my postman and requested my wife's EAD.

STILL I CAN SAY SYSTEM IS GOOD YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE TWICE.

I did a address chnage on my pending 485 applications and the LUD chnaged but no postal confrmation was received.
whats the best way to know that the address has indeeed chnaged?If I open a cast status inquiry, will they send me a postal mail and that way I can confirm?

Just simply call them

Call the 800 number and conform.To reach the service centre directly check other posting about that.Do it twice
