I received a letter from the immigration saying that my I-601(waiver of ground of inadmissibility) was denied due to a lack of documentation on the reason why my wife would suffer hardship if i had to return to my native country where i was persecuted due to my ethnic background and my involment in a opposition political party. We will be married for 5 years in may and we have a 2 1/2 year old boy.Any suggestion on how my wife would express her hardship in the appeal letter? for example situation in the country, the risk of persecution on myself , my son and herself if i had to relocate, our actual financial situation, my son 's future in here as him and my wife are american citizen. My wife can't take care of my son financially by herself or pay the mortgage on the new house. Now that she is 6 weeks pregnant i am afraid that she looses the baby due to stress

Did you attempt to file this yourself? Make sure you Lawyer up immediately with a lawyers specializing in i-602 waivers.

serious advice for anybody filing appeals or any other type of waiver is to get a lawyer to file the case for you. Do not do this yourself just trying to save few burger $$$ you may ended up loosing your Black Angus dinner $$$ and deportation.

If you need suggestions, you need to tell us which country are we talking about where you and your son will be persecuted and your wife will be targeted for being American? If you persecution is documented clearly, why didn't you go down the asylum route?
