My 485 pending, wife got laid off - She is ok to stay?

She is not principle applicant, she is ok to stay in the country or have to file for H-4 \'cause I am on H-1B.

You do not need to apply for an EAD yourself if yr h1 is valid

she is in status the day you applied for your 485...and will be in status ..

till the time your case has been adjudicated....she doesn\'t need H4 or any other visa....

to work she needs EAD..to travel out of country she needs AP....

I am glad to hear she doesn\'t need H-4 to stay \'cause my H-1B extension is still pending with INS.
