Hi Guys,

My 140 has just been approved. Good luck to all those who are waiting, seems like NSC is really trying to finish up all the backlog and be current. Thanks for all the people for sharing their info.

I have been noticing so many of I-140 August 2004 approvals lately but I am still unfortunate in not receiving one yet.

I don't know the PD. Never bothered to look for a PD.

the_dude, Don't worry about it too much. I was feelign the same way till last week. But today I am a happy man. I am sure your approval will come within the next couple of weeks.

140 Approvals

I've bee waiting for my approval like anybody else.

140/485 RD : 08/03/2004

EAD, AP received long time back
140 AD : ???

Please let me know if any august filers are in the same situation.
 
Same case here. Everybody around my dates are getting approved but not mine.

140/485 RD 08/20/2004 and ND 08/25/2004

Actually PD matters a lot in case for EB3. Right now they are able to give immigrant visa numbers only to cases with PD of June 2002. So if your PD is after June 2002, even if your I-485 is good, it will not be approved until your PD becomes "current".

So just make sure what your PD is..

We are not talking about 485 approval here.
140 approval is not based on PD. Lot of people getting approval of 140's have PD in 2003.

I think we had a thread for Aug2004 filers some time back. Let me check.
 
Thanks for the info dwl800. How do I locate the PD? I did not know where to get it from. Can you let me know what is the PD and where can I find it out from?

It is the date when your company filed for your Labor Certification. Its on the I-140 approval notice. You can ask your lawyer about it if you dont have the I-140 approval notice.
 
Thanks dwl800. I just got 140 approved yesterday, so I will wait for about 2 weeks before requesting a copy from my company.
