Hi Folks,
Situation: I'm a US Citizen. I have applied for my GC Mom under IR5 category (Immediate Relative Immigrant Visas).
She had her Consular interview scheduled for Mar 2022 at Mumbai, which she ended up missing (unavoidable circumstances) and could not reschedule in time.
Mumbai consulate steps:
A. Get biometrics done (at VAC center Delhi)
B. Get medical done
C. Attend consular interview (at Mumbai)
I now need to help her reschedule. Can you please help clarify:
1. To get biometrics done, does she need a valid Consular interview (scheduled for a future date)?
2. If the above is true, I should then schedule consular interview 1st and then schedule a biometrics interview (before the actual consular interview happens)
