Hi guys

After 3 years and 5 months I eventually got my passport stamped and now
have the green card.

The medical at Lilavati went off very well. Went in at 7:45 were out by
11:00 am. WEre called to pick the reports at 4:00 but instead went the
next morning and picked it up. Traffic is not bad early morning.

Got the photographs done at My own Studio...
There are 2 branches the one near the consulate closes by 7:00 pm and the
one near Gowalia tank closes at 7:30. I was actaully driving past the one
at Gowalia tank and found it by accident.

I carried all my documents (original + copies) for the consular processing.
We were called at 9:30, I reached there at 8:45 and we sat at the Raj
Pavilion till around 9:15. Then a bus drove us all the way from Raj
Pavilion to the consulate(a 30 second bus ride).
We entered and paid the application fees and sat till around 11:45.
I had a packet well arranged. The Indian officer went throught the forms
and didn\'t ask for anything (no originals.... nothing). He went through
my translated Birth Certificate since it wasd from Delhi and then didn\'t
even look at my wifes birth certificate saying that it was from Bombay
so it would be correct :)
Later we waitied for the American Consular and swore that the stuff in
the forms was correct and I had a little chat with the officer. He asked
me whic Univ I studied at out here and then asked me to go and pay up and
pick up the passports at 3:00

We came back at around 3:15 and waited in the line till around 4:00 and
picked up the passport and the Immigration visa.

At POE
There was no line fortunately. We went to the window the officer opened
the immigration visa envelopes and stamped the passport. and then took
us to another counter where we got our fingerprints taken and that
was it.....

Thanks you everyone for your help and this site has really helped me.
wish you all the best

No Title

I am assuming PCC is the police clearance......
No they did not ask for Police clearance.

The indian officer asked me if I had lived in any country
other than US and India and I haven\'t. So I didn;t need the police
clearance.
