I work in the healthcare field and got my first TN with Company A on 2010. I decided to change employers a year later, so I quit my job with Co. A, surrendered my I-94 when I went back to Canada, and applied for two separate TNs a week and a month later. I was lucky to have been granted both. I currently have two TNs, one for a Company B (where I work full-time), and Company C, where I work as a contractor (2-6 hrs a week). Company D now wants to hire me as a contractor.
a)Is there a limit to as how many TNs one can get? I would like to keep my two existing TNs and get a third one if possible.
b) What are the odds of CBP revoking my existing TNs should they deny my application for concurrent TN#3? Would I be questioned for applying for TNs several times over the past 2 years? I went to the same POE for all of them.
c) When I applied for my TN with Company B, a CBP official gave me a difficult time about how I was not allowed to "solicit" jobs from other companies while on TN with Company A. Was he correct? This didn't seem to be a problem when I went back to the same POE and applied for a concurrent TN 3 months later but I want to make sure (said CBP official wasn't present at that time).
d) Given the circumstances, would it be more advisable to apply for concurrent TN #3 via mail?
Thank you very much.
