multiple H1B visas !!

hello everybody,

I am working full time on an H1B visa for my present company. Meanwhile, I would like to go ahead and work on a part-time basis for another company, at the same time. Can anyone, please let me know whether I will have to wait for the 2nd visa to be approved or I can start working as soon as I receive the I-797 notice of receipt. I will appreciate any replies.

By the logic applied to new H1 (which is what the part time H1 is) you will have to wait till approval. That is my opinion. Ask the lawyer.

You can have multiple H1s approved but you cannot work for more than one compnay at a time. This i have confirmed with my lawyers.

U can work for multiple employers

INS does not prevent you from working for multiple employers (Most of them are 1 FT and another PT) . If you run into any contractual problems with one of your employers regarding this , that is your personal issue without any immigration impact.
