Multiple filing receipts - (Follow up to the address change problem)

As a sequel to my address change thread....
....I just found out from the lawyer that there might be a problem.

What happenned was that the lawyer had sent BCIS the applications (for I-140, I-485, EAD and AP) with checks payable to BCIS in November. Since now the checks have to be payable to USCIS, the applications came back. The lawyer then sent them the corrected checks and sent them again in December.

I was waiting to change my address after receiving the filing recipts.

Here is what I got:

Filing receipts for my wife (the primary applicant) for I-140, I-485, EAD and AP stating that they have been submitted on Dec 10, 2003.

Filing receipts for myself (the dependent) for I-485, EAD and AP. Here they have sent me 2 filing receipts for EAD (submission dates of Nov 7 and Dec 10), 2 filing receipts for AP (submission dates of Nov 7 and Dec 10) and 1 filing receipt for I-485 (submission date of Nov 7).

My initial guess would be ignore the earlier filing receipts for myself and update the information on the latest filing receipts assuming that they are current. However, I have only 1 filing receipt for I-485 (which reflects the older submission date).

Question :
Should I go with that I have and update my address on all the receipts (older and newer ones) ?
OR
update my address on all the latest filing receipts and on the older I-485 receipt (I am worried that I might not update the latest receipt if they have issued it at all)
OR
Call INS or someone who could tell what are the latest filing receipts (How to do this?)

Really confused here. Please help..

1.Update your address for all the latest filing receipts and for the older I-485 receipt and all the pending application including AP EAD I-485 for your self and your spouse.
Update with the service center and send all the copy of receipts and request on cover letter to change the address for all the applications pending with USCIS service center you should write your past address and new address and your DOB, Name A# your wife has also to do the same, regarding the two receipts for I-485 you should write in this cover letter. Send separate envelope for your wife address change on all pending application and you send separate envelope. Write out side the envelope in bold” Attention: Address change” send it be certified return receipt
2. fill up the AR11 form for you and your wife send it.
3. keep all the receipts in your hand and also update address change with NCSC on 1-800-375-5283 for your spouse and you.
