Multiple 485 filing with different employers

Hello,

Is it possible to have 2 different 485 with 2 different employers at the same time? I already have a 485 pending through my previous employer. Is it possible for me to file another 485 through my current employer?

----YES if I-485 have basis of diffrent LC and Diffrent I-140 from diffrent employer

------ If you have new I-140 approved just send the copy of approved I-140 to service centre where your I-485 is pending and request USCIS to approve pending I-485 based on newI-140, just attach the I-485 filing reciept( I-485 belongs to you not to your new or past employer) If that I-485 was filed by company lawyer better hire your lawyer fill up G28 and substitute the I-140 with pending I-485 ( if go to lawyer remind him about Pearson MEMO to substite I-140 with pending I-485) it can be done only before I-485 is PENDING

Thanks for the reply. The 485 i filed with my previous employer has been transferred to local INS office and the case is pending in local INS office for more than 2 years by now.

So is it safe to file a new 485 instead of amending the old petition?

-----then better file new I-485 and if the Interview for earlier I-485 is scheduled early take the new employer letter to use AC21 and the I-140 approved copy of new employer at the time of interview request theLocal USCIS officer to approve I-485 based on new I-140.
