I got a msg today from CRIS------------------

The following is the latest information on your case status

This case has been approved. On April 5, 2006, an approval notice was
mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice,
you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address,
please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business
hours.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case
status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision or
advice from USCIS within the projected processing time frame*, please
contact the National Customer Service Center.

Does it mean they are going to send the card??

YES this is an approval. Congratulations...you are now a PERMANENT RESIDENT.

Could you please share all your details.
Priority Date, Country of Origin, Classification (EB1,EB2,EB3).

Got stuck in Name check

Got mail on 28 or 29th of march 2006 that myname check is cleared now ,although my wife's name check has already been cleared in november2005. But as i am teh primary applicant,they could not preceed the case without being my name check cleared.

Last LUD on 1st april 2006. and today( may be yesterday late night, because email says 05 Apr 2006 22:15:06 ) i got an approval mail that i mentioned in my previous post.

Yes, both me and my wife are approved. We checked our portfolio there also LUD is 5th april and msg changed as I-485 approval (for both of us).

Thank God...... I was so pi*** off with this namecheck process.

Kabish, i think u r gonna get your approval very soon.

Did you do something about the name check like check with the senetor or FOIPA or something. Or the thing cleared on its own ?

ya, i tried everything----- congressman, senetor, mails to mr. William.
Cong. and senetor were not at all of any help in my case. But i think sending mails to uscis helps.
But there is no harm to contact senetor and congressman. Many ppl got positive result from their help.

How long have you been stuck in Name check? When did you complete Finger Prints?
 
is CSC-XII.485@dhs.gov correct address

Is CSC-XII.485@dhs.gov thej correct address? I sent email on March 15th and see several who got responses. But I didn't, so I'm wondering whether the addr is correct

Got mail from CSC-XII.485@dhs.gov but they don't send u mail by themselves. u send a mail to them requesting the status of ur case ,they will reply u with ur case status.

On April 14, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a
new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

Thanks dude - I can't explain how I feel - nothing has changed but the head is so much lighter - I wish all of you good luck - going thru all this pain hasto be friggin' worth it at some time.
