I just got a reply from Mr. williams for my email inquiry made last month. He mentioned that he was out of office for last 3 months and hence the delay.

I am so glad that he is back now and we should be able to get the status of our applications from USCIS much quicker.

Hi, Sam:
What is the message he sent to you regarding your status?
I got the same out-of-office message from him yesterday, but that's
almost it. He is a great guy but I want him to inform me my status not
why he delayed the reply.

My message was the same as usual.

"This is to inform you that the I-485 in question is still pending. The
reason that it is still pending is that USCIS is awaiting NAME CHECK
results
form the FBI. It may have been a long time since we sent the name, but USCIS
has
no control of the time it takes. We apologize for the delay."
