Mr.Jim and gurus, pls. Help , Job desc. in LC or I-140?

Hi All, When you change a job 180 days, do you need to follow up your job description based on LC or 140?. Please share your experience.

The I-140 and the LC were filed for the same position by the same employer, why would they be different?

Thanks you verymuch for your reply. the reason I asked was I have only copy of my LC and I do not have I-140. So you mean I can go with whatever job description there in my LC?.
