:( Dear all,

Mr arshad is a Bangladeshi Dv-2007 winner. His interview scheduled at 25th April along with 3 family member. At the time of pre visa interview he infomed
consuler officer that he did not mantion 2 childern name when he join 2007
lottary. After receiving first notification latter he mention his 2 childern name &
send it to KCC.KCC also send him 2ND notification & informed him his visa interview will be scheduled 25th april & he must present with all of his family member.

But the visa consular infomed him he did not need to face the visa interview because he did not mention his childern's name at the time of lottary so he did not get the Visa.

Arshad Ali's QUestions is, if it not possible why KCC send him the Second Notification letter?

Can any one give the best answer for Arshad Ali?

He is very Much upset.

Hi sabala,

I'm sorry to hear Mr. Arshad's case... But, in E-DV application form there is explanation about disqualification:

Children include all biological children, legally adopted children, and stepchildren who are unmarried and under the age of 21 on the date that you submit your entry. Failure to include all children or inclusion of children who are not your biological children, legally adopted children, and stepchildren (regardless of whether they live with you and/or intend to apply for visa as your derivative) is grounds for disqualification of the entire entry. (Legal Permanent Residents and American Citizens should not be included.)

If he informed this matter before sending documents to KCC, they should have told him about disqualification...

best said. most of the time dol and uscis look at the details at the interview. there is no logical answer to this question. but the policy is clear. big price for a little mistake. i hope he didnt end up in deportation proceeding. better luck next time.

thankfully, he didn't pay for the visas. The consular officer was nice.

And what deportation procedure are you talking about? they were at a US consulate in their own country. It's hard to deport somebody from their own country.

on different note - why didn't Mr Arshad include all his eligible children in his lottery application? were those two children married or over 21 years old?

Dear lucy
You set your account as you dont like to receive e-mails, messages. Could you please inform me your mail address. I need you to ask something.
Kind regards

i was talking about AOS and cases within US in case you didnt figure it out by now Lucy. if you have reference books for immigration, look it up. they specifically say all the information on the initial DV entry must be fully accurate so there are no frauds. ask a lawyer too.

Thanks for your information.
