My attorney send my new address to INS. Do I need to follow up? Where do I call? what is the best time to call IIO?

Also, do I need to send AR11 to INS?

Even my attorney told me the same for a change of address after my FP.

I just kept quiet. If you want you can follow it up with IIO.

I read many times in MurthyChat that it would be good to call an IIO and verify (maybe twice) the change, besides sending the AR-11 or whatever it is. The I-485 approval and the plastic card may be sent to the old address.
 
FP not yet received - and moving

I am moving next month to a new address. I have not yet received FP notice. If I update INS with the new address, do you forsee any problems for FP ?
 
Better to call IIO

Actually you need to send AR-11 notice. But you can also call IIO to change the address in which case it will be done on the spot. I did both sent AR-11 and called IIO. Still FP notice went to old address !!! However Post office re-directed it to new address.
 
and will attorney get ntoice about FP ?

Will attorney get a copy of the FP notice ? If so, we will atleast have another way to know that the FP is scheduled, even if it is sent to the old address. Hopefully the AVM will also have an update - "FP notice has been sent out on...". These things might help, right ?

Yes.. your attorney will get a copy. YOu get one too. YOu take take either copy for fingerprinting. Does not matter. Many a times AVM does not get updated. So do not rely entirely on AVM. Keep checking with attorney. If it is past 4-5 months then you can even call INS and talk to an IIO.
