Moving to the US can be very exciting. Make sure you chose the right state. Keep in mind every state is different and cost of living changes from state to state. Make sure you have a plan in mind and make sure you do some research online before you make up your mind on a state. I recently moved to Chicago, great city but very expensive....real-estate is very expensive, property taxes are high and rising each year.
 
Yep, very true...location is very important. especially now, it seems. That's why I'm going to Utah. Rent is for average European standars very cheap, and I hear there's still a solid job market there. Besides, there are things other than money that are important to me...It all depends what one is looking for.
