Moving consuler interview up?

Has anyone ever requested an earlier date for their interview once they receive their 2nd letter from the KCC? I am scheduled for July 28th but have a new job offer (I already reside and work in the US on an H1B visa) and would like to see if they can't move it to June sometime instead.

I guess I would have to contact the US embassy in London directly as that is where the originally dated interview is scheduled to happen.

Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated.

P.S. I have all my paper work except my police certificate which is in process. If need be I could pay the 70 pounds for another one that could be processed in 3 business days (premium processing).
 
We asked USCIS for an earlier date due to College schedule but they stated that you just have to wait for what they sent to you and if you want to reschedule it will delay the appointment for at least 6 weeks and they made it clear that you are your self respoinsible for the risks involved.
 
So you're saying they can only postpone the appointment by 6 weeks not move it up? I would just keep the appointment they gave me if that is the case. Also, I should contact the embassy directly not USCIS, is that correct?

When is your number current? if it is July, you will never get a June date.
If July, then you can try ask them (call KCC first and see what they say) for a date early in July, but with London I think this is highly unlikely. But you should try if you really want to.
 
Thanks, NuvF. I guess I'll shoot for early July. If not, I'll keep my current date. I just became current for July - AF00053XXX.

THank you, Samuel. I am not trying to postpone the interview I just want to make it earlier, but it seems that is unlikely.
