I filed N-400 in october and I have moved since then. I am still in the same city. I put my uncle's address as the mailing address on N-400 so all the mail that they send me goes there. I talked to the officer when I went in for FP if I need to change my address. He said if my mailing address is the same, I don't need to change it with USCIS. To make sure, I called USCIS customer service and asked the same question and pretty much got the same answer. Do you guys think I should be ok? Do I need to call in and change my address, and do I need to take a new application when I get my interview notice? Please advise.

Thanks

If your mailing address (the physical address you use for your drivers license, tax forms, utilities, passport, etc..) stays the same , there is no need to change your address. However, if your mailing address did change then you must notify USCIS. There's no need to fill out a new application. You can notify USCIS of your change of address online at:

https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa

During the interview, the IO will ask you of any address change. Using the argument "I have all my mail sent to my old address where my uncle lives" will only complicate things.

Which is your PRIMARY residence where you receive your phone bill, electricity etc.
That is the place (primary residence) you need to provide to USCIS and if that has changed, then please inform the USCIS.
