Hi everybody.

My H1b (7th year extension) was denied in June 2004 and my lawyer filed a Motion to Reopen/Reconsider (MTR) application with Vermont USCIS in July 2004. But the last update date for my case still shows June 2004 which is when the case was denied. The online status still shows "150 to 180 days" and it never changed to reflect the denial or MTR.

Did any of you go through this process of MTR ?? How long did it take to see a final decision? Will the last update change if they work on my case???

I am very curious to know something about this because along with the MTR we provided all the required evidence the asked...Perfect case now but still no news????

WHY ME!!!!!!!

Please share any information you may know about this.

Thanks....

Reason for denial

Hi Kv,
What is the reason INS gave for denial of 7th year extension? Can you please send me email to sarwarmd at hotmail dot com..
Thanks,
Sarwar

please look at my previous msgs in the 6th year expiring

Please look at my prev. postings. I have explained at least 3 or 4 times about my case in detail. I am really tired of waiting for my h1b intially and now for the final out come for my motion to reconsider.

In brief, my h1 was denied cause I couldn't provide the LC receipt from dol.
First received a RFE, we replied with affidavit from lawyer and postal confirmation. We received the denial after 6 months after we replied RFE. Applied for Motion 2.5 months ago and waiting.
