Mothers surname not updated in passport

Im attending H1B visa interview next week at chennai counselate.I have my mothers first name only in my passport.Surname is not present in passport.Will this cause any issue.kindly advise.

-------------Mothers name in Your passport with only First name or without surname has nothing to do with your H1 Visa stamping.
