I have the same issues ( both me and my hubby work for the same company and should go for about a year overseas, suposedly 10months ).
We are treated as expat ( paid in USD, US health insurance, 401(k) , taxes...).
But, we vacate our apartment here : we simply won't pay for 2rents !
However, both our cars and furniture will be stored in the US.

Luckily, the company paid for an immigration lawyer.
He said that it should be enough ( if < 1year, of course ), but unfortunately, you will only know for sure when you will apply, pay the fee, and go to the interview.
He advised to apply for a REP though : he said that you never know, the company might want you to stay a little longer, or you could be sick or anything.
If you don't, then you might loose your GC if > 1year.
N470 is great if you are eligible. Unfortunately, most people are not.
The lawyer said no need to file AR11 as we will be overseas. He said it's only for addresses in the US.
I do not really like this answer ( AR11 is required unless you are a USC ), but he is supposed to know what he's talking about.
I wanted to put the company local address ( where we worked before going ), but he said DHS does not care where we receive our mail, just where we live.
But if you continue to live in the same apartment, you do not need to file AR11.
And, for you, it 's even better as you still have a place of residence in the US.I do not think you would have problems for naturalization.
