More information on I EAD. Jaxen, please help

We had been waiting for 90 days to pass. We are now planning to go to the Washington DC office on Wednesday for my wife\'s Interim EAD. Her response to RFE for photos was received on 29th March but no further change yet.
Do you know if we will surely get the Interim EAD even if there was a RFE for photos? What are the chances that they might not give it?
Also, I checked the link and pretty much got all the information.
We are taking photo ID, 485 and EAD receipts, a personal check of 120 dollars and my application receipts also. We will take passport and H4 docs.

Do we need to take photographs like the ones for original EAD application?

Is there anything else we are missing?

Are we taking a risk by doing this? It will not affect the actual case right?

Also, she has a letter from a prospective employer that they are waiting impatiently for her EAD to come. You think that will help? Should we take that?

I am sorry to bother you but any further information is really appreciated.

You don\'t need photographs, since they will take the photograph.

You use the 120$ as a backup. With EAD receipt and over 90days all sub /district offices are issuing interim EAD /temp work permit without asking any Qs.
With the RFE on photo, you can argue that we are getting nervous about the photo, so we decided to let INS take the photo :))

This will not affect any of your pending case with INS.

Cannot predict the sympathy factor an employment offer will generate. INS (generally) does not play to "cheap movie tactics" is my opinion.

Yes they should not take it..

You have already paid the fees and the receipt is proof. They should not take your 120 dollars again.
Generally, it is better to be on the line very early morning and try to see the IIO before noon. You should get the EAD in the afternoon latest. If you get to see the IIO only in the evening you may have to come back the next day.
 
Did not work..

We had been there this morning and it did not work out. She said INS is working on the case and it should be approved pretty soon and as there was a RFE she cannot give I EAD..She said to come back if we do not get it till 2nd week of May.
Anyways, if she would have decided to give it, she was giving a appointment of next Wednesday (May 1st)..
They give EADs only on Wednesdays.
Anyways, we tried..Thanks for all your help.

My H1 is expiring on May 15th. Company is not applying for extension.
But no ref. so far.
 
I went to Arlington, VA office.

I know it kinda sucks...To wait..Hope you get the EAD soon and so does my wife..

how was ur experience when u went on may 1st?

in my case, i do not have any RFEs and so do u think it would be a nice idea to go and get my interim EAD?

my 485 and EAD have been pending for over 100 days now..

any input would be useful.

what are the documents that are required to be taken for the interim EAD?
