more evidence about the status from oct 94 through nov\'96

Hi, ND 8/9
Today ins sent me an RFE asking for my status between oct\'94 and nov\'96 as i entered on these into US from India. I got a PT in Feb\'95 and converted to H1B on April\'96. I do have about a month gap when i first got pt and H1B. Is this fine or will it be a problem.

When did you receive?

Could you tell me when did you hear automated message and when did
you physically receive RFE.

I heard my RFE messagess on 09/29 and I did not receive RFE yet
from INS.
