More denials these days?

It just compares the total number of denials for each month. The number is meaningless by itself. There were 37,167 I485's processed in March 2003 and 58,379 in March 2004. That's 57% increase in the number of processed applications. Even though those 38% apply to all types of applications not just I485's, the total number of processed applications was much smaller in 2003. It's not the same as 38% being denied which would indeed be horrible.

Would be interesting to know what kind of applications were denied

As compared to last year there is 29 % increase in approvals of all application, 38 % increase in denials.

WOuld be interesting to know what kind of applications are being denied.
Would be intersting to know how much % of 485s get denied and what reasons?

I heard that L-1/H-1 processing has become stricter.
