Seeing the latest I485 (ND 23rd Aug) China approval assures all of us of one thing at least; that INS is still processing I485 cases in the last 2 weeks of September.

Another interesting observation; havent seen an India EB2 (non-NIW) Aug\'99 approval in a while. On the contrary have seen a few mid-Aug\'99 approvals for China.

Also, the #of indians on this board easily outweigh the #of chinese. Does that mean the #of indians waiting are much more than China for cases in Aug\'99 or after Aug\'99? The answer is a definite yes. Dont know what the implication of this means and how it affects the I485 cases.

Havent seen a lot of EB-2 early Aug\'99 waiters for India on this board. Could count upto a max of 5.

Another thought.

I think VSC will process more Chinese cases than Indian recently. THe reason is: If you check PD of Chinese, it will make some sense. Before 99, EB2 PD for Chinese is at 96. I feel there will be very few Chinese are eligible to file I-485. Untill July 99, the PD for China moved to late 97 so a quite few Chinese can file. I think most Chinese people\'s ND will be around July/August 99. And VSC just began to process ND July 99 last month. So there will be a lot of quota left for China. But very few left for Indian since Indian people have much earlier ND and have been adjusted already. In order not to waste too many quota INS will adjust more Chinese to fill the hole. So I expect to see more Chinese be approved in the next few days. Then who knows what will happen when time moves to new fiscal year! So cross figures Chinese folks and hope the day will come soon.
