Moonlighting

Hello Everyone,
I have recently started my J-1 waiver and received an offer for moonlighting from a practice nearby. I read some posts on this issue and came to the conclusion that I am going to ask for the payments to be routed through my current employer. I was wondering if there will be any problems in the future.

Another question-(Repeating due to the lack of proper response for my prev post)
Is there anyone working/worked in New Hampshire on J-1 waiver and applied for GC? Please let me know as I need to get some first hand advice on the "Practice must not help facilitate LPR status for 2 years" rule.
Thanks,
Jgbr

Not only should the payments be routed through the employer, your paperwork should reflect the additional site that you will be working at. I am not sure exactly what form/paper but I do know that any additional sites of work need to be explicitly stated.

As long as you practice 'full time' (36-40hours/week) at your waiver location, you can practice in an additional location (e.g. moonlighting). The docs working for the VA for example routinely have a second H1b to work with the affiliated university hospital.
