While I was digging for some information I came across this link regarding N400 statistics compiled by uscis on monthly basis.

I've actually opened a topic asking if anyone knows why USCIS stopped publishing these report after September 2008, but got no replies at all.

Probably so nobody would know what happened right before Elections 2008.
