Mistaken living location - What to do

Hello,

First of all congratulations to this amazing forum. I have a question regarding my Lottery Visa application:
I lived in Greece and 2 months ago I arrived in Canada to pursue my Master's diploma (Canadian Student Permit). When I applied for the lottery though, I didn't input Canada as my current country plus I inserted "Postgraduate Diploma" instead of "Some Courses" (I know that was super bad but I just began courses 2 weeks ago and I did proceed without thinking clearly..). What should I do now?

Do you think that is an important factor for disqualification? Is there any way to update my information? Should I re-apply in order to disqualify myself (in this case I will be able to re-apply in future right)? I don't want to get banned or anything like this (forever) for a detail like this. And if it's fine to proceed as it is, will have to get back in Greece for the interview or all can be done from an American embassy in Canada (assuming I got selected..)?

Thank you in advance for your help and again I am glad to join this spectacular forum.
Kind Regards

First, stop worrying about the education thing. It doesn't matter for selection and many people are still studying and improve qualifications between entry and interview. Similarly, many people move between entry and interview. Neither of these is a problem of any sort...

If you get selected you will fill in a form in which you can (1) update your educational info and (2) update your address. So no need to disqualify yourself unnecessarily.

And submitting a second application disqualifying yourself would be an incredibly silly thing to do....

Oh, you made my day.. I couldn't sleep last night... So no worries at all right? And can I be interviewed and continue the process from Canada or do I have to get back in Greece (in case I get selected of course). Thank you for your (super) fast reply!

You interview in the consulate near where you live.

Get selected first, then worry about where you wish to be interviewed when that time comes.
