Mission possible: Self-reliance through open source

A very weakly written article. There was no clear connection between various points.

The problem with open-source is that it takes a lot of time to make it work since it is very hard to find the documentation and it is not intuitive to install and make it running. I encountered a lot of problems while making the firewall work on Linux.

In a global economy there should not be any concept of self-reliance. When you cannot do something efficiently, give it to someone who can do it.
