Missing I-140

Hi,
Can anyone tell me what do when I-140 does not show up in the on-line
case search or telephone retrival system of INS?.
I applied for my i-140 almost 18 months back in dec 2002, ever since I applied
the case never showed up anywhere, I have the Receipt from INS and my
lawyer is following up with INS regularly, I even went to the walk-in center to
find out, but they had no info too.
exhasted with all avenues I an really out of ideas what to do, If any one has
any ideas.. please write back.
funny thing is that my other cases like 485 show up normally!.

Hi Wolf,

I have same problem. My I-140,my duaghter/son's 485 does not show up remaing all applications visible.
My case is a concurrent sub.(rd 3/24/2003). My home address and employer's address come under different service center. Is that true in your case? Is your case a substitution?

Anybody having same problem?

a little different

Actually no, my address and my employers address are in the same service
center, it just looks like INS forgot to put my stuff into their database.
My labor took a year to get completed and now my 140 is taking for ever.

I just called the national service center and they said they will email BCIS of this. What about you?
