Missing evidence reported in I-797C

Guys,

I applied for N-400 and received I797C (notice of action) that states my application number, priority date etc. The notice also states that my application has missing evidence but does not specifically indicate which ones.

Is it common to see such a note in I797C? Do these missing evidences mean the documents that I need to carry for my interview later on?

I did receive a minor traffic ticket 4 years back but I did submit all relevant documents (copy of the ticket, original court letter indicating that there is no pending case, my clean DMV record from past 5 years etc.)

It would be great if folks could share their experience regarding such note about missing evidence.

Thanks,
Abhi

Did you by any chance forget the copies of greencard? When I sent my N400, I forgot to send copies of my greencard and I did get missing evidence. I would not worry too much since the notice says that there will be another letter indicating the evidence to be brought at the time of interview

My details:

DO: Hartford CT
PD: 12/22/05

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I did send in the copies of my green card. I wonder what is missing. I will wait to hear from them.

My details are:

DO: Milwaukee, WI
PD: 12/27/05

I got that letter too. I just had my interview yesterday, and brought what they told me to bring. Everything went smooth. Do not fret. You will be fine.
