Missing AP

The CSC AVM says that my AP was approved on June 11, 2001.
However, it has not yet reached me. My lawyer says there is
no option but to reapply, but that sounds ridiculous to me.
This is more likely a case of lost mail and obviously the INS
should have a provision to issue me a duplicate. Can anyone
guide me whether I can show up in person at some office and
request for a duplicate? Anyone done this sort of thing before?

I am also in the same position

Mine got approved on Sep20th. My wife got hers by mail but I didn\'t even though both of ours got approved on the same day according to AVM. My lawyer called the INS and INS say that they have already mailed. My lawyer has sent a fax enquiry. Most likely, I have to reapply!!!!!
