missed the "request for evidence" letter

i just found out they sent me a letter to request for more evidence in June 2005 a couple of days ago. now what shall i do?

More details... RFE on what exactly?? ---- I-485, I-140 etc...
what stage are you in?? - I-140 approved, I-485 ....
 
I-485 asylum case filed in 2001, and the first RFE i missed was in June 2005

i called them today, someone told me my case was in an officer's hand and he will send me another request if needed. the first RFE was for some medical forms. i have told him to send the officer an email telling him i wasnt gonna abandon the case, i just missed the letter
