Missed oath ceremony

Me and my wife missed oath ceremony (mis-read date). Can I walk into USCIS office and explain what happened or I need to take an appointment? How much time generally it takes for a new date?

Go for an Infopass and request to have the oath rescheduled. It can take anywhere from 1-3 months to reschedule an oath depending on the DO.
 
Given that this was posted today, I bet the confusion was 7-6 or 6-7. Went a month late?
[ Actually I do not remember whether they write the dates as numbers, or in full english form. This is speculation. ]
 
OMG you guys missed your oath ceremony!! That is really horrible. When so many people are anxiously awaiting their oath ceremony dates, you guys have recieved the letter actually MISSSED it!! As suggested above, you can go to the USCIS and request a reschedule of your oath ceremony. IT will be processed but will take a few weeks. Good Luck..and don't miss that date..
