Missed FP Appointment Date. Help!

Is it true that FP can be done on any Wednesday after the scheduled date up to 90 days.

I cannot find this anywhere on the web or even on the notice.

I missed my appointment at Newark by 3 days due to some flight delays etc and could not get to the ASC in time.
Is there any procedure or is just directly going on wednesdays also
I think its like lot of people should be there then on Wednesdays!

I did my FP after the scheduled date (04/19/02) but did on 05/01/02 since i was in India at that time , On my FP notice it was clearly stated that if I am unable to do FP on Scheduled Date then I can go on any Wednesday at Originally scheduled time ( in my case it was 11 am ) till 07/12/02 and get it Done . If FP is not done by that Date ( 7/12/02) then the case will be abandoned . Check Your FP notice, Take chance and go to the ASC explain them your situation ..

finger print notice date was 03/14/02 acutal appointment for FP was on 4/19/02 but Did FP On 5/1/02 at Norfolk (ASC) ,VA , VSC.
was issued by VSC

My FP notice says you need to request for rescheduling

if you cannot make it - the notice was sent from TSC
(my I-485 was filed to VSC)
