I want to apply for extension of my parents H1 Visa. While entering the dates on the application, I noticed that instead of giving them 6 months upto Aug 17, 2006 on the I-94, it was stamped Aug 17th, 2007. I think they made a mistake with the year on the stamp. How does this affect my application ? Who do I have to contact to correct this error and can I send the application for extension with I-94 expiring on Aug 17th, 2007 date asking for extension till Feb 18, 2007, 6 months before that date.
