Mispelled First name on Mother's GC...

how can we change her first name as it was originally mispelled, she had travelled with it before and no problems but now wants to change it so it matches the passport and other documents.
Is there a long wait to get that done and what forms do we need to fill out? Please advise. Thank you!!!:)

If her I-485 form had her name misspelled then it is not USCIS mistake on the card. She needs to file form I-90 with fee. If her name was correct on her form I-485 then it is USCIS mistake and file form I-90. If Lawyer filed her I-485 then lawyer office has copy of her I-485 form and check that form.
If she file I-90 with fee she will get I-90 filing receipt and corrected GC may take 5-6 months. If she files I-90 without fee then USCIS doesn’t send receipt and corrected GC may take 6 months. You can read the exp in other threads posted.
