Mispelled education certificates :(

Ugh, I've just noticed that BOTH my BA and High School certificates have mispelled my middle name. My MA certificate is fine. I am looking in to getting them changed, but if I run out of time how big a deal will this be?

I have a friggin' MA will they even check my high school certificates (A-Level and GCSEs)?

Note: I went to high school and undergrad in the UK where I'll be picking up my GC.

Thanks in advance. Sorry for all the questions.

don't worry about it, I read in this fourm so many guys with mistakes in their names, like the name in the passport is spelling different than birth certificate and different that education certificate and they make it through interview, I think the consular office they are experience with such cases and usually they ignore it, and I reall read about so many guys with cases like yours and they make it without adjusting there names, don't worry about this case just be relax :)

for example if your name in the passport is mohammed and in the birth certificate is mohamed the consular office will ignore it

Thank you, Firo1234! I will relax and take it easy. As long as my birth certificate and passport match I should be ok.

Love America: I assume A-LEVELS and GCSE's count as a high school diploma. That is what we do between the ages of 11-18 in the UK. What have you heard?

I think it would be useful if this forum had one dicussion thread for each major document needed. I called the London embassy today and they were very unhelpful. The operators don't have access to DV appointments/cases and could answer none of my questions requesting clarification. All you can do is email londoniv@state.gov and hope for a response. *sigh*
