Hi, I got a minor moving violation (Notice of Infraction) a month before my interview. I have already mailed out a check for the ticket. I kept a copy of the ticket and my check.

Will I need to disclose this during the interview as it happened after the application was submitted but before the interview? Should I also bring any records with me to the interview?

Any response would be appreciated

It is advisable to disclose everything to the USCIS for all your activities will be closely monitored, once you enter the citizenship application process. Since it was only a minor violation, it will not affect your application.

yes do disclose it during interview .. no harm

Yes do disclose it during interview , no harm at all , the person taking your interview will write it down
on your form. Make sure that you remember the citation date and the total fine.

Keep your citation ticket and check copy. Infact if you have already paid your fine, call your county clerk office and tell them that you wanted payment proof/details of the ticket and they will mail you a letter stating that you have paid the fine with fine details. They can also fax it to you. it depends what route they want to go. for me one of the county clerk faxed me the ticket/payment details which I paid in 2002 and the other mailed me ticket/payment detail which I paid in 2010. Though during my interview the person interviewing me ..just said oh .. you got two speeding tickets and then he moved on didnt ask for any document. But I had it just in case.

So don't worry at all about it, just make sure that you definitely disclose it and even if your county clerk doesnot send anything to you , just keep your citation ticket and check payment proof handy.

Good luck with your interview.

Thanks for the responses! It was a 100 dollar ticket. I will call them once I see the check has been processed online and get proof. Cheers
