Minimum Salary For Next Job??

I have been without job since OCT-02. I have an offer from a
startup without pay. This person is ready to compensate the
minimum wage requirement by law.
Is that applicable to person in AOS?.. What is the connection with
I-140 for my next job?. Can I take up this job with low salary?.
Please help me so that I won't be into any legal trouble.

My WAC is 02-050 ; ND 11-26-01 ; FP Done April 2002.
So my basic question is what should be my minimum salary for
the next job?

Basic prevailing wages may not be applicable during AOS esp past 180 days.
However, it all depends on each individual case. check with your lawyer to read between lines and you may find the solution.
 
Actually you can only change jobs to a similar position and with a salary which is close to the one specified in the I-140. Maybe a 5-10% decrease might be okay. I don't think that minimum wage will cut it though.

Judging by the current behaviour of the INS, your chances of getting an RFE is pretty high. Is your company ready and able to give you an EVL and other documents needed just incase you do get one?

employer is also trying to find the legal opinion.

My worry is when I get RFE, my salary will be an issue!. Also do
I ( or my previous employer's lawyer) need to inform INS about
my job change?. If so, do I need to mention the new salary?.

From What I have observed on this forum, you don't have to report to INS about the job on your own. You can wait till you receive an RFE to report to the INS.

About the Salary... Like bill2003 says, talk to your lawyer and read between the lines.
