Milwaukee Interview experience

I had my interview this morning at 9:30. Reached the USCIS office at 9am and waited for about 30 minutes. Looked empty...there was just another couple in the whole room. Around 9:30, I was called inside by the IO. He asked me to raise my hand and take the pledge of saying the truth. Then he started going through the file and he just had one question on the my middle name. Then he went through the N400 application for any changes since I had filed. I gave him the updated sheets I took with me that had changed information, highlighted in yellow. I had just come back from a 3 month trip, but no questions were asked about it.

Then he asked the 6 questions for the old test, had me write and then read a sentence. After that he checked the Congratulations box and said I was done and the oath would be scheduled in about 60-90 days. I asked him how long it was taking these days in Milwaukee and he said it was about 60 days now. Same day oath was not available.

I thanked him and came out of the room...now another wait begins. I am scheduled to travel again later this month and hopefully the oath date will work with my travel plans.

Hi WiscCitizen,

Thanks for posting your interview experience and congratulations, you are almost there :)

Any idea how often they have the oath ceremony at Milwaukee DO?

Thank you guys! Akond, I vaguely remember that Oath is held twice a month in Milwaukee, but I could be wrong. Also, it seems like only the courts can administer the Oath in Milwaukee. USCIS can't do that by itself.

Good luck!
