Milw Transfer

My case was transferred to Milwaukee INS 4months back. Still waiting for interview.

I received the interview notice. Interview is set for end of April both for me and my spouse. The notice says to bring the medical documents, all the immigration documents, originals for all photocopies submitted and the passport & I-94.

My wifes Interview is set for in June !! I have got the green card. Do they approve the GC and give the Stamp on the same day.?

When was your case transfered to Milwaukee. How long did it take to get interivew letter.

Did INS mention why case was transfered to Local INS.
Did you get RFE before case was transfered. What was that about?

My (& my wife's) case was transferred to the local INS office on 11/06/02. The interview notice indicated to bring all the originals for all the documents, passport & I-94. No reason was specified in the notice. Me and my lawyer thought that my employer's name change(after I-140 approval) and my marriage only a year old at the time of applying for I-485 was the reason.

It took about 5 months to get the interview notice. My interview took place few days ago and I received the approval letter today.

Any precaustions we need to take during interivew. HOw do you see people treatment there. Are they coureous enough to feel comfortable.
