So its been two years and through the hoops and crazy turns of my immigration case, at the age of 21 I've figured I might just cancel my case and move back to Canada. I haven't seen my family in almost 2 years and ive been suffering a lot from not working nor going to school, all i keep getting from Immigration is that my case will go to court from the I-485/I-130 appeal as i receive this email
As I can't even afford my rent that much and living off my savings and family pitching in money, besides I have no clue when my courtdate is coming in. I have a feeling ill be moving back to Canada but I have questions to ask tho...
1.) If I move back, my case will automatically be canceled correct? and if so, will I receive any penalty because of it?
2.) If I move back, Am I allowed to ever come back in as a visitor? because I do have family, Girlfriend and friends in the states.
Thank you.
"After reviewing the file, it is apparent that the individual’s Motion To Reopen (i.e. Notice of Appeal to BIA based on a decision rendered by the District Office) will be schedule for an Immigration Court hearing. Presently, the case is pending with the Detroit’s District Counsel Unit with ICE and the applicant will receive a court appearance notice."
