MI - SESA What is going on?

Looks like the michigan sesa has not processed any applications in the last 6 months. In the last few months everytime I checked this site and else where the current processing date comes up as Jan \'2000. Is there a problem. Has any body found out anything?

My date is July \'2000.

LC held up at MI

Checked with my lawyer and have been informed that MI Labor Certifications are still pending for priority date of Nov\'2000.
My PD was Nov\'2000 on RIR - Conputer professional, still with MI SESA . No reason given .Looks like no staff available to review cases.

there has to something wrong there.
RIR of March 2001 and some of April 2001 are in process and thats confirmed.
but yes its taking months instead of days now.

  Don\'t get surprised. I am also another sufferer of MI SESA. Mine application is also pending with an analyst. My lawyer sent the amended application (due to prevailing wage rate problem) four months back but so far my file did not go to Chicago. My priority date was Nov\'2000 and still pending with an analyst. I do not know when it will go to Chicago!!!!

I finally found my case on Chicago DOL email system.

My application was sent to MI SESA on April 5, 2001.
Email response from DOL said they received it on Oct. 31.
Mine is RIR, EB3.

did u have a receipt date to work with? or ....company telephone number?
did you get any info from MI sesa before u thought of trying the email response?

I checked the automatic email response system at DOL.
I couldn\'t get mine through company telephone number.
I guess it\'s probably because my employer supports too many foreigners. I saw some cases like mine from the same company.

I knew mine was about to sent to DOL according to the information I got here if there\'s no problem in my application.
So I put ramdom case numbers from 05402000 to see how things were going at DOL side. I found mine by chance.

I didn\'t get any info from neither MI SESA nor my attorney:-(

Hi Chao, I got fax from my lawyer which he got from SESA and that says that my case was sent to chicago on nov 9. i checked the chicago dol using my company\'s tax id and my case was not in the list. can you please tell me how many days it take from the day SESA send it to DOL chicago to the date which shows up in the automated email response from chicago.
For my case it\'s already more than 16 days gone by and it\'s still not entered in chicago\'s system. you think it\'s ok or should i call lawyer or someone. also do you know any phone number for chicago where i can talk to someone.

Blank the subject line and type either one of the following in the body of the message:

I checked from case# 05402000 to case# 05402475(This is the number as far as I could get the responses last weekend).
Receipt date are as follows:

from 05402000 to 05402087 Oct 31,
from 05402088 to 05402171 from Nov 1 to Nov 5 mixed
from 05402172 to 05402228 Nov 5
from 05402229 to 05402256 Nov 6
from 05402262 to 05402289 Nov 7 & 8 mixed
from 05402290 to 05402374 Nov 8
from 05402375 to 05402389 Nov 8, 14 & 15 mixed
from 05402390 to 05402416 Nov 13
from 05402417 to 05402426 Nov 9

There are some cases which don\'t match the receipt date I wrote.

To chicago dol,
I don\'t know how long it takes for an application to be in their system since I didn\'t get any info from my lawyer.
I think it\'s OK to call DOL.

You might want to check using the telephone number of your company because I had the same problem I was using tax id but was not able to find my case but using phone number in the email I was.

Thanks a lot man. I also tried and the latest i case number i could find in their system was Case 05402500 and that was recieved on nov 13. since mine was sent on nov 9 no i guess i should wait for 1 or 2 week before getting anxious (mean more anxious). Once again thanks a lot and keep in touch since our priority date is pretty close.

My lawer says my lc application moved to Chicago this week. My PD 4/19/01.
I would like to know how many days it will take to get LC from DOL, Chicago
