Hi friends I got a email from USCIS for I -485 below.. what this message means? Is it RFE or ?

On November 16, 2004, the document we made based on the approval or
registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom
issued.

This means that your case has been approved and the approval notice was sent to your attorney. However, it was undeliverable and returned back to USCIS. The have re-mailed it to your home address.

Have you done your FP? what is your RD/FP etc?
 
FP notice most likely

If you have not done your FP than this is for FP notice, otherwise it is a RFE. Some say this is approval but it is less likely ?

what are ur RD/ND for 140 485 and other details of ur. case

My 140 /485 -- > Dec 10 2003,

I haven't got FP.

So it might be FP.. I donot know..


Is it possible 485 be approved with out FP?

I just got the same message for I-140. I had an RFE that I responded to and they accepted on 10/27 and an email saying the case had been updated and they would notify me of their response in writing on 10/29. Tonight, I received that same email "the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued." ...

So, is that another RFE, intent to deny or an approval?

I recall other I-140 saying "ON [date] this case was approved]... why this cryptic message?

Thanks for any thoughts on the matter.

I was confused about that message.. I donot know..really ..

what to do?Just wait for the documents?

I guess...I reallly don't know either. What is a registration? I know what an approval is :) And why not have two separate messages? I guess we'll just wait and see.

Hi Vishnu,

I had received the same message and subsequently received FP notices. Have you filed your I-140/485 application concurrently?

May be, after FP the chances are that they will adjucate on I-485 directly.

Did u receive any approvals on your I 140 or I 485.After receiving the msg that the document that they made based on the approval....
I recd the same msg on 11/12/04,but after we did our FP.
No Approvals on I 140 or I 485 recd yet though.
I140 RD12/12/03
I 485 RD 12/15/03

Hi Hope,

I am in the same situation.. My I -140 didnot approve..

I am EB3 and India. My PD date is June 2002.
